start, he eventually got up to sec-
ond and overtook the lead when
KTM rider Mitchell Falk went
down. Moments later, though,
Forkner ran off the track and
dropped to fourth where he would
finish behind winner Cantrell,
Sexton and Tanner Stack. After
that, a 2-1 wasn't enough to beat
Cantrell's 3-2 for the title and he
had to settle for second. Forkner
will now move up to the big-bike
class, as will Cantrell. Next year
they will compete against each
other in the 250 B and School-
boy classes.
Future Stars
With minicycle (pee-wee) stars
like Stilez Robertson and Jett
Reynolds getting older and mov-
ing up to the bigger bikes, there
are a number of riders who ap-
pear ready to step in and fill their
shoes, such as Wyatt McGrath
