I was trying to catch a group of
riders and I hit a tree. I got loose
and the front end got out from
under me and I hit a tree with my
forks and that really shot a bunch
of pain into my knee. I struggled
to get the bike started and when
I took off I was way out of shape.
I just had to ride where I felt com-
fortable riding, and riding injured
I was trying to correct with my up-
per body and it wore me out. I'm
in much better shape than I was
in Pennsylvania, but I was defi-
nitely off a bit."

points leader Cody Webb com-
peted in his first National enduro
in Colorado and came away with
seventh overall. The former Na-
tional MotoTrials champ was es-
pecially impressive in the more
technical sections and says he'll
be back to race an east coast en-
duro soon.
"I didn't really know what to ex-
pect, but I think I ended up doing
pretty good," said Webb. "I think
I was fourth in the first test, and
then seventh in the second test.
The last test I felt like really fit my
style and I felt right at home in
that one. I think I was doing pret-
ty good in it, but unfortunately I
saw and 'X' on a tree and then a
'W' and I thought I was going the
wrong way, so I went back a ways
to find the last arrow and it turned
