with second overall at Unadilla. Martin's
3-1 results were good enough to extend
his double-digit points lead to an even
greater margin with two rounds remaining.
"I got off to a great start [in moto two]
and battled with Christophe for a while,
then I chipped my tooth after getting hit
by a rock," said Martin. "After that I real-
ized I needed to make my move. I haven't
won a moto in a while so it felt good to get
back out front. I did make a few mistakes
out there today, so I'll do some work dur-
ing the week to come back stronger next
weekend."
WEBB, BAGGETT, MUSQUIN
It wasn't a stellar day for Yamalube/Star
Racing/Yamaha's Cooper Webb who
dropped one position in the 250-class
standings, going from second to third be-
hind Blake Baggett. Webb finished 15th
overall with 7-36 moto scores, the latter
due to a mechanical issue in the second
moto that resulting in him pushing the bike
back to the pits.

charge toward Martin's championship lead
following a slow start to the year, managed
to vault himself into second in the standings
