I
t's not a surprise to hear the words – Hen-
ry Wiles has won an AMA Grand National
Championship TT race. But surprisingly the
modern-era TT specialist had never won one
at the Castle Rock Race Park. Until now. And
the win comes at a time when he's in the midst
of perhaps one of his most difficult seasons,
the Michigan rider struggling all season and not
finishing inside the top five. Well, until Satur-
day night in front of the packed grandstands in
Castle Rock when Wiles came back to take the
lead from Mikey Rush and earn his 25
th
career
win. The Castle Rock win also marked Wiles'

th
TT win, which moves him to within one win
of Chris Carr's all-time TT win record before
heading to Peoria in a few week's time.
"I've liked coming to Castle Rock, but I've
always been behind when the checkers were
flying," the Don's Kawasaki-backed Wiles said.
"This crowd here is great at Castle Rock. They
make you feel so good. They're louder than
