going 4-3 on the afternoon.
"I don't know if something tight-
ened up on the plane ride over
here or what, but I was only able
to do two or three fast laps in
practice because of the pain I was
having in my back," said Tomac.
"I ended up working through it,
though, and going into the motos I
guess adrenalin took over."
In moto one, Tomac passed
Weston Peick and Justin Brayton
to move into fourth on lap three.
"In the first moto, obviously
Kenny and Ryan and Trey rode
awesome and I kind of just set-
tled for fourth," said Tomac. "In
the second moto, I tried a little bit
different spot on the gate, I went
a little more outside and I spun
when the gate dropped," said
Tomac. "That was something I
didn't do very well today, was get
off the line, so I was buried in that
second moto. I didn't really enjoy
it, but I was able to work up into
third."
Tomac spent most of the race
Blake Baggett thrived in the heat
and humidity. He won for the third
time in the 250 class.
