MOTOCROSS
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 6/JULY 5, 2014
REDBUD TRACK 'N' TRAIL/BUCHANAN, MICHIGAN
P62
dropped the GEICO Honda rid-
er down the order. In moto two,
Bogle even led for three laps but
washed out the front end and
dropped off the pace.
"Today was looking to be a
great day," Bogle said. "I was
running towards the front in the
first moto when I went down. I got
up quick, raced up to third and
landed in third for most of the rest
of the laps, but I went down again
and ended up fifth.
"In the second moto I had a
great start and was leading for
the first few laps but then I went
down again. We were all running
really close and a bunch of guys
got past me. What can I say? The
track was pretty gnarly and unfor-
tunately it got me today."
No Wins For Baggett
Blake Baggett was on a roll com-
ing into RedBud, having won four
of the last five motos, but Red-
Bud did not yield any moto wins.
He lost any chance at an over-
all win when he suffered one of
his usual bad starts in moto two
and could do no better than sev-
enth in the race after a couple of
crashes hindered his run to the
front.
In the first moto, Baggett fin-
ished second to Martin, not quite
able to make a pass on the Ya-
maha rider. CN
