OFF ROAD
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 5/JUNE 28, 2014
MUDDY CREEK RACEWAY/BLOUNTVILLE, TENNESSEE
P76
Webb, who hails from North
Carolina, considers Muddy
Creek to be his home race. "To
do this at my home race, I could
hear these guys [the fans] every
single lap," Webb said. "Baggett
was on me the whole moto, but
I told myself I wasn't going to let
him by. I'm so pumped."
Baggett's 1-3 results placed
him second overall. "Today was
a good day for me as far as
points are concerned, but I feel
I could have gotten the win," said
Baggett. "We have been working
hard and I think the hard work
is showing during the race. In
the first moto I knew I had to go
for it and I was pretty sure I won
the moto because I was ahead
of Cooper. In the second moto
we were battling for most of the
race, but late in the moto a lapper
stopped right in front of me and I
had nowhere to go. I went down,
but I was still able to get back up
to finish second."
Bogle's runner-up finish in the
second moto helped move him
to third overall (4-2). Pourcel was
fourth (3-4) while Musquin round-
ed out the top five (5-5). CN
