was Matejicek, who finished the
series with 175 points. Mateji-
cek flew back to his home in
the Czech Republic on Monday,
where he will now compete in the
Czech Republic national series.
Third overall for the year with
133 points was Pennsylvania's
Logan Bolopue who finished fifth
each day in Tennessee. Mean-
while, Daniel Blanc-Gonnet was
fourth overall with 117 points.
Ray Peters went out on top of
the Expert division after announc-
ing his retirement this weekend,
the Beta USA-backed rider win-
ning both days in Tennessee and
finishing on top of a highly com-
petitive class. While his compe-
tition days are over, Peters still
plans to keep a hand in the sport.
He plans to help the NATC with
the future of the national series.
Young guns Andrew Putt (Sher-
co) and Alex Niederer (Beta) bat-
tled back and forth with Peters
at every round of the series. In
Tennessee though Peters called
upon his years of mud-riding ex-
perience to come out on top. CN
