Webb tried to retaliate in the
next corner only to grab too much
front brake, causing him to go
down. In the process of getting
back on his back, FMF KTM's
Taylor Robert got together with
Webb and also dropped his bike,
but both riders got up in time to
keep the second- and third-place
positions, respectively.
Haaker suddenly found himself
with a sizeable lead over Webb
and spent the next 11 laps doing
everything he could to keep his
bike on two wheels and stay out
of trouble — not an easy thing to
do in EnduroCross. But he did
just that and managed to stay
well clear of the former Trials
champ and take the win 8.9 sec-
onds ahead of Webb.
