ing me on. I appreciate it so much."
The day culminated with the infamous California vs. Ar-
izona Challenge. Dubach once again took to the course
to represent team California. And though he rode to a
dominant and impressive win, it wasn't enough to claim
a victory for California. The winning team is decided by
a combined score, meaning every rider's finish counts.
Furthermore, all the entrants are handicapped according
to age, ability and bike, giving more points to the riders
in the back of the pack. Dubach turned out some of his
quickest laps of the day, but when the dust settled and
scores were tallied, the CA vs AZ VMX Challenge was
determined a tie.
"This was a really great turnout and I can't thank all our
sponsors enough," Scott Burnworth said. "This year's
event was the best by far and we look forward to hosting
it for years to come." CN
