MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 3/JUNE 7, 2014 THUNDER VALLEY RACEWAY/LAKEWOOD, COLORADO P72 "I found a setting, engine-wise and suspension-wise for out- doors, that I really like, which helps," said Roczen. "But I think one thing I struggled with in Su- percross was having so many races; that made it tough, espe- cially near the end. I also have more experience in motocross, because I've raced it for so long and I just feel like I know what I can do. I just think it's confi- dence." After three rounds, Roczen sports the red number plate des- ignating the series points leader. He is 12 points ahead of Dungey, with Stewart in third another 18 points back. Stewart Brings Some Game After struggling with setup at Glen Helen and Hangtown, Stewart was able to find something that suited him on the Thunder Val- ley course, which this year was a bit harder and faster than in past years. In moto one, Stewart grabbed the holeshot and in spite of heavy pressure by Dungey, and later in the race by Roczen, the Suzuki rider held his ground and came James Stewart is starting to come around as evident in his first-moto win.
