"I found a setting, engine-wise
and suspension-wise for out-
doors, that I really like, which
helps," said Roczen. "But I think
one thing I struggled with in Su-
percross was having so many
races; that made it tough, espe-
cially near the end. I also have
more experience in motocross,
because I've raced it for so long
and I just feel like I know what
I can do. I just think it's confi-
dence."
After three rounds, Roczen
sports the red number plate des-
ignating the series points leader.
He is 12 points ahead of Dungey,
with Stewart in third another 18
points back.
Stewart Brings Some Game
After struggling with setup at Glen
Helen and Hangtown, Stewart
was able to find something that
suited him on the Thunder Val-
ley course, which this year was a
bit harder and faster than in past
years.
In moto one, Stewart grabbed
the holeshot and in spite of heavy
pressure by Dungey, and later in
the race by Roczen, the Suzuki
rider held his ground and came
