Off the start, it was N-Fab Am-
Pro Yamaha's Paul Whibley grab-
bing the All Balls Racing $250
Holeshot Award, but Whibley's
aggressive move for the hole-
shot left him slipping and sliding
on the Millfield dirt that had seen
a quick rain shower before the
start of the race.
Capitalizing on Whibley's mis-
take was the reigning champ
Russell, who quickly took over
the lead. Russell was forced to
tiptoe around the super-slippery
track on the first lap though, in-
stead of putting in his typical
early race charge to break away
from the field.
