Despite narrowly missing the
win, Fahringer was still pleased
with his second-place finish.
"I dug down deep and I think
I beat Brad in all the rest of the
tests, but I just put myself in too
deep of a hole in that first test,"
said Fahringer. "But honestly,
this was a home race for Brad
and he made me work for it and I
just came up a little short."
Fahringer also encountered
problems in test six, but it had
little affect on his finish.
"I got some wire from an old
fence wrapped up in my rear
wheel and it pinched off my rear
brake line," said Fahringer. "I
wasn't able to do anything about
it until the end of the test, but I
don't think it bothered me too
much."
