"I just couldn't keep up with those guys
in the dust off the start," Purvines Rac-
ing Beta's Burson said of the early miles
aboard his Motul/TBT/Klim 498 RR. "I
tried to charge and just stayed right out
of their dust pretty much the whole first
loop and lost a little bit, but we actually
finished around the same time the sec-
ond loop. I fell once or twice the second
loop. I just kind of rode by myself all day.
It's kind of not too technical up here so
there's kind of nothing to separate us."
