OFF ROAD GEICO AMA ENDUROCROSS SERIES, FUELED BY MONSTER ENERGY AND PRESENTED BY LUCAS OIL ROUND 1/MAY 2, 2014 ORLEANS ARENA/LAS VEGAS, NEVADA P86 up meeting in the 12-lap main event and duking it out for the win. At the end of the night, all three riders stood on the podium with multi-time National Trials Champion Cody Webb seizing the top step over Haaker (second) and five-time AMA EnduroCross Champion Taddy Blazusiak (third). Webb, on the Beta USA/GEICO/ Stillwell Performance 300RR two- stroke, rode a near flawless race, mak- ing only two real noticeable but minor miscues on a very tight and technical track that was conducive for making easy, but big, mistakes. After passing Blazusiak on the first lap, a very com- fortable and confident looking Webb steadily pulled away, taking full advan- tage of every bobble, crash and tip-over by his competitors. By the white-flag lap, Webb had built up a comfortable cushion and took the checkered flag a full 20 seconds ahead of Haaker. It was an impressive win by Webb who must have left his competitors, es- pecially Blazusiak and Haaker, a little worried at the end of the night. "The first six or eight laps I was to- (Above) Webb leads five-time EnduroCross Champion Taddy Blazusiak. (Right) Webb rode so smooth and in control, the Beta rider almost made the extremely technical Vegas track look easy.
