a track that Hayes has always
been strong.
"I got off to a rough start and
slowly worked my way through
the field," Beaubier said. "Josh
[Hayes] was setting a really good
pace at the front, just as fast as
we went in qualifying. So I was a
little nervous. He [Hayes] made
a little mistake; I got in front and
put my head down. And started
stretching a little gap and was
able to come home with the win.
I had so much fun racing in front
of all my family and friends this
weekend."
"I don't know. A lot of pucker-
ing," Hayes explained about the
first-turn moment. "I've been a
little behind all weekend. And we
said, 'hey let's go for it in the race.'
I was riding as hard as I could
and giving it all I had. And then
had that one little mistake. Once
