SUPERCROSS MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES FINAL ROUND/MAY 3, 2014 SAM BOYD STADIUM/LAS VEGAS, NEVADA P66 cycle, but when it's on a stage like this, it just sucks. "This isn't the way I wanted to end the series, but we hit some great landmarks this year, me personally getting 50 wins, I have five wins this season and, even though the last two races have been tough, I've had a great sea- son. I've done a lot of things to resurrect myself, personally and on the bike, and the team has been working hard. We will be back and try to win the outdoor title." The Knee On the bright side, the knee Stewart injured last week at New Jersey that caused him to pull out of the main event seems to be okay. He said the knee felt very good the day after the New Jersey race and continued to feel better as time went on, but he laid off riding the bike during the week to give the knee a rest. "The knee is fine, so that's a good thing," Stewart said. "I'll be back riding next week, and I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks off and racing Glen Helen." Climbing Back For Dungey, second in the 2014 standings is the best result since his Supercross title in 2010. Since then, he's finished third three times in a row, until now. "I'm happy," Dungey said. "That's one spot up from the past three years, so this is a good little step. This year was a tough season, there were a lot of good guys out there and consistency was key. I think I lost sight of my- self there for a little bit, lost the focus, kind of scattered with all the guys, but I think we honed in where we needed to be and did a good job of rebounding. We were a little off on points and a couple of bad races will do that, so we just have to clean that up for next year." Roczen Reflection Former 250 MX World Champion Ken Roczen finished his first full season in the 450 class in third, making it two Red Bull KTM's in the top three. "Overall, I had quite a few downs," Roczen said of his rook- ie season. "But I'm glad to finish off this first race with a podium. The track was really tough out there, I just really wanted to stay on the bike and finish the race, which was important for me. I thought it was a good season. I think I've been riding all right but haven't started that good. "There was for sure a learning curve this year, we're doing quite a bit of training, it's a long season and I think there were a couple of races that the bike could've been better, but, no excuses, I fought my way through and that's impor- tant for me."
