NMA WORLD MINI GRAND PRIX
VOL. 51 ISSUE 16 APRIL 22, 2014 P47
advantage exiting the turns.
Yamaha YZ250F rider Byrne
ended up third overall with a 3-3
and Kawasaki rider Rookie White
fourth with a 2-4.
Probably the most predictable winner of the
World Minis was local Ryan Surratt on his Ya-
mahalube/GYTR/Yamaha-backed YZ-Fs. De-
spite competing in some of the most competi-
tive classes at the event, which held formidable
foes as KTM's Luke Purther, Tanner Berry,
Rookie White, Byrne, Wentworth and Kelley,
Surratt claimed four championships, winning
every moto of the 250 and 450 Stock and
Modified Intermediate classes.
Yamaha rider Aaron Plessinger came and
conquered the two pro classes he entered –
the 250 and 450 Modified classes - winning all
four of the motos with room to spare. One of
Max Miller is
a two-time
champ in the
85cc division.
