Villopoto now has a 45-point
lead on Stewart going into his
hometown race of Seattle next
weekend. Dungey is only one
point behind in third. Villopoto
could clinch the title in Seattle
but would gain at least six points
on Stewart.
"I'm looking forward to going
back home where I grew up and I
have a lot of family up there," Vil-
lopoto said. "It's a bummer that
it's an open roof and that throws
an element into it, but everyone
would have to deal with it if it
rains. I need to be smart about
it and not worry about the other
guys. A win means nothing at this
point, just need to ride in your
comfort zone."
