Burson enjoyed a flag-to-
flag victory on his Motul/
TBT Racing/Klim-sponsored 498
RR at the Rabbit Creek 100. The
race was hosted by Dirt Inc. and
was round three of the AMA/SRT
Hare & Hound National Champi-
onship Series.
Combined with the 10th-place
finish of Ivan Ramirez, Burson's
second consecutive series win
moved him into the points lead
with 81, while the FMF/KTM Fac-
tory Off-Road Racing Team rider
dropped to second with 66.
Second on the day went to
Bel-Ray/FMF/Moose Racing
Husqvarna's Jacob Argubright. It
was his first finish of the season.
He kept it close all day and was
just 26 seconds behind Burson
at the finish, 2:45:40 to 2:46:06.
THR Motorsports/Monster En-
ergy/Precision Concepts Kawa-
saki's Ricky Brabec claimed his
second straight podium, com-
ing from a poor start through the
very dusty conditions for third in
2:51:17.
