and lost positions to Dungey and
Stewart, he caught a vulnerable
Roczen in the final laps to finish
fourth.
Stewart had the crowd on its
feet the last several laps as he
caught Barcia and made the
pass for the lead. He kept his
momentum going and actually
pulled away in the final laps for a
huge win and one for the record
books, too.
"I almost went down on the
first lap, but 14
th
to first, you can't
beat that," Stewart said.
In the process, Stewart made
up 10 points on his rival Ryan Vil-
lopoto, but Stewart didn't really
even give that much thought.
"At this point, I'm just trying
to win races and it was the best
ride I've had in four years," he
said. "It's a momentum builder
for sure, but I got to give Ryan
credit, from the hospital to a
good finish in the main, that's

pretty hard and had to make a quick
pit stop in the mechanics' area. I
just tried to come back as hard as
I could. I didn't want to give up, so
I tried to give it my all and tried to
come back. We salvaged what we
could. It's crappy because I felt pret-
ty good in that heat race. We made
a lot of bike adjustments today, and
the team worked their butt off trying
to get me comfortable and get me to
where I felt good. Just one of those
nights you'd rather forget."
The night didn't go all that much
better for GEICO's Matt Bisceglia
in the 250 class. After a couple of
crashes, he qualified for the main
with an LCQ win. "I had a little bit of a
tough night, I guess," Bisceglia said.
"I'm pretty happy with the progress
I made throughout the week. I was
up there in practice, and I qualified in
fourth. I didn't get the greatest start
in the heat race and had a couple of
crashes. I came back and won the
LCQ and then ripped a start from the
outside and was fourth on the first
lap. I was going in the whoops on
the right side to pass Decotis on the
first lap into third, and I just caught
a couple of edges. It spit me over
pretty hard. I'm upset because that
could've been a podium for me."
Red Bull KTM's Ken Roczen said
that he couldn't capitalize on a great
start in the 450 final. "I struggled a bit
in the main tonight," he said. "I feel
like I might have trained too hard dur-
ing the week and I got tired tonight.
I'm glad I could get the holeshot for
my team, but I would have really liked
to finish on the podium."
