Nevada 200 Adds Slots The 30th Annual Motion Pro "Nevada 200" Trail- ride, hosted by Best in the Desert and Harden Of- froad, has announced that 25 new positions will be open on a first come first serve basis to interested parties wishing to par- ticipate in the event. The "Nevada 200" consists of three amazing days of off- road fun and fellowship and is based out of the re- mote high desert commu- nity of Caliente, Nevada. "We have been asked over and over again how to get an entry to the event and decided to accommodate at least 25 more lucky souls by opening it up this year to some new rid- ers. When we started this event 29 years ago it was designed to be a premier off road experience and part of that experience was due to the nature of the cli- entele invited to participate in the event," said Scot Harden, event co-founder. "Our team works very hard to prepare a truly memo- rable experience and have gone to great lengths to insure it remains that way. We are in the second year of a special five-year per- mit to host the event by the BLM and have incor- porated hundreds of miles of new trail as a result. If you love riding awesome trails and hanging out with really good people then this event is for you!" Entry forms can be downloaded at the Nevada 200 Trailride page www. facebook.com/Nevada- 200Trailride. Superstore And Pacific Track Time Motorcycle-Superstore. com and Pacific Track Time have agreed to a strategic partnership that establishes Pacific Track Time as the official track- day provider of Motorcycle Superstore while Super- store is now the official on- line retailer of Pacific Track Time. Penalty Point During the Moto2 race of the Grand Prix of Qa- tar, Xavier Simeon was involved in the four-rider crash that included Josh Herrin, Johann Zarco and Alex DeAngelis. When all the riders got to their feet in the run-off area, Simeon gave Herrin a push. Race direction has thus imposed a penalty point to Simeon's record, according to Ar- ticle 3.3.1.3 of the 2014 FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Disciplinary and Arbitra- tion Code. No appeal was lodged. And More… Moto2 racer Sandro Cor- tese was riding at "slower than racing speed" on the racing line during the final minutes of the Moto2 quali- fying session in Qatar and race direction deemed this "resulted in a collision with another rider." Thus Cor- tese was imposed a pen- alty point.
