Miller Time At TT
American Mark Miller will
ride for the Italian-based
Team Vercarmoto in the
2014 SES TT Zero race.
The team finished fifth
last year in the race with
Chris Mcgahan. Miller
won the electric bike race
in 2010, finished second
in 2011 and third in 2013.
He is also one of three rid-
ers to break the 100 mph
mark around the Moun-
tain Course on an electric
bike. Miller says the Mo-
toCzysz team he normally
rides for is taking the year
off from racing.

MotoGP
The Marc VDS Racing
Team has announced
that Monster Energy will
sponsor the team's assault
on the Moto2 and Moto3
World Championships this
season.
This agreement will see
Monster Energy branding
featured prominently on
the Kalex Moto2 machines
of Qatar Moto2 winner
Tito Rabat and his team-
mate Mika Kallio, as well
as on the Kalex-KTM bike
of the team's sole Moto3
rider, Livio Loi. In addition,
all three riders will display
Monster Energy branding
prominently on helmets
and leathers during 2014.
Bigger Brakes
The Grand Prix Com-
mission unanimously
approved a proposal to
make the use of the larger
340mm carbon disc
front brakes optional for
the MotoGP events at
Catalunya (Spain) and
Sepang (Malaysia). It is
already mandatory to use
340mm carbon disk front
brakes at Motegi in Japan.
15 Million Hondas
Established in 1996, Hon-
da Vietnam built its first
motorcycle in 1997. Since
then, Honda Vietnam has
experienced memorable
historic landmarks such
as the anniversary cer-
emony for the 5 millionth
bike in July of 2008 and
the 10 millionth bike in
September of 2011. On
March 21, the company
held a ceremony for the
building of its 15 millionth
bike. The factory in Viet-
nam has the capacity to
build two million motor-
cycles a year.

ormer 250cc and World Superbike Cham-
pion John Kocinski currently has a 36 race
win streak on the short track at Perris Raceway
in Perris, California. Kocinski's streak encom-
passes the Vintage 250-360cc 2-Stroke Expert
classes, Vet +35 class, Bomber class, and Pro
Main event victories. The bike he is riding here is
"Elsie," a Knight-framed Honda air-cooled 250cc
two-stroke built by Bud Askland and Andy Bon-
dio. Kocinski also still holds the outright track re-
cord at 14.06 seconds, set in 2011.
