Forkner claimed his title in
the prestigious and competitive
Super Mini (12-16) division after
grabbing the holeshot, leading
every lap and crossing the finish
line with over nine seconds to
spare over second.
"The track was pretty gnarly,
but I had first gate pick and I was
able to pick a good line and get
the holeshot," said Forkner. "I
tried to sprint the first few laps
to get away, and then I put it on
cruise control for a while just to
avoid mistakes. This track can
jump up and bite you at any time.
It's a good racetrack, though, it
has places to separate the rid-
ers."
Second place went to KTM's
Cameron Cannon, while third
was Kawasaki-mounted Joey
Crown.
The 250 All Star A/B class
mixes the best with the best from
the A and B classes, and newly
signed Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider
Zachary Commans came out on
top of a good battle with B rider
Alexander Frye to get the win.
"I got the holeshot and just
tried to put in solid laps," said
Commans. "Alex Frye was riding
really solid from the B class and
he kept me honest. He was rid-
ing solid but by halfway I had a
pretty good lead."
Frye was the highest placing B
Mackenzie
Tricker
dominated
the Women's
final.
Jalek Swoll
claimed the Mini
Sr. (12-14) title.
