Race, round two of Best in the Des-
ert's American Off-Road Racing Se-
ries, falls into the latter category,
as Matt Gosnell and David Pearson
proved at the latest edition of BITD's
sole bike-only event.
Third off the line, the duo chased
the Ryan Abbatoye/Ricky Brabec
Team all morning and were second to
take the checkered flag.
But after factoring in the two-min-
ute starting deficit, Gosnell/Pearson
ended up with the quicker overall time
- three hours, 23 minutes and 43 sec-
onds, Abbatoye/Brabec 91 seconds
slower, though that gave THR Motors-
ports the first two spots overall.
Third went to Purvines Racing Be-
ta's Nick Burson and Axel Pearson in
3:28:36 after a few minutes of down
time replacing a damaged rear-brake
system.
