said. "I had arm pump and I kind
of cruised [for a while]. I'm like,
'Okay, it's going to be three loops
so you've got to relax. There's go-
ing to be time; you've got to be
patient.'
"The second loop was defi-
nitely better because I was a lit-
tle tight in the beginning. That's
when [the course] was a little bit
tighter and I [made] some time
there. The third loop I was feeling
better." And that allowed him to
get by Brabec and close on Bur-
son, making for a close, dramatic
finish, Ramirez just five seconds
behind Burson for second on his
Braydon Bland (2)
put in a lot of miles
over the weekend.
On Saturday, he
won Super Mini
Advanced after early
leader Jarett Megla
(1) had to pit with
a flat rear tire. On
Sunday, he took that
bike to second in
200cc Amateur.

fast, and he
rode it to the
Junior Mini
85cc victory.
