ously it worked out. I wish I could
thank him in person."
For Kyle Redmond, the final round
of the series was certainly one to remember. Not only did he finish out
the evening on the podium for the
first time of his career, he was also
the number-one seeded rider going into the evening's program after
topping the afternoon Hot Laps. He
was the quickest, single-lap qualifier
on his private, RPM/T&R Carpentrybacked KTM.

qualified for the main event at
the Las Vegas final, Webb was
officially eliminated from title
contention). When all was said
and done, Webb finished third
in the 2013 series, just 11 points
behind Blazusiak and just seven
behind Brown. There's probably
not a rider more anxious to get
next year's championship started than Webb.
Joining Webb on the Vegas

Graffunder and privateer KTM
rider Kyle Redmond. It wasn't

on a high note.
As for Redmond, it was his first
time on the box. The usually quiet
and reserved racer from Southern California was all smiles afterwards. No one's ever questioned
Redmond's speed. Many times
Cody Webb talked some about his
recent success and run for the title.
"On the starting line, I feel that my
confidence is up, and I feel like my fitness is getting better," he said. "I feel
like I'm the guy now – one of those
guys. Before, everyone looked up
to Taddy, but everyone stepped up
their game this year, Brownie had a
phenomenal year, Taddy, we'll, he's
Taddy and has been at the top since
the beginning. I feel like I definitely
climbed up a steep path and plan to
keep going."
Despite getting caught up in all
the carnage, former EnduroCross
Champion David Knight, was all
smiles afterward. "It was a nightmare," the Manxman laughed. "I
enjoyed the day, I finished third in
my heat race, that was good, but I
struggled all day with – I don't know!
Well, I only brought one tire with me
and it was too soft and I felt like I
was riding with a flat tire all day and
couldn't get any grip. I got a good
start in the main, got into second
place then I jumped into the tires, hit
it wrong, and tweaked my wrist and a
couple of guys passed me. Then we
went into that mess; I thought it was
