GEICO AMA ENDUROCROSS SERIES, FUELED BY MONSTER EN
some fireworks and paint swapping in the 12-lap main event,
and that there was, and lots of it,
maybe more than anyone could
have guessed. What started out
as an absolute thrilling knockdown drag-out battle between
Brown, who was going for his first
EnduroCross Championship, and
Blazusiak, who was going for his
fifth straight title, ended up with
the former trials rider from Poland hanging on and prevailing
in a race that fans in The Orleans
Arena won't soon forget.
Neither rider, however, won the
Vegas main event. In fact, they
didn't even finish on the podium.
The final-round win instead went
to Beta/Stillwell's Cody Webb
who captured his third victory of
the season and with it proved to
the off-road community that he
is without question one of the
upper echelon riders in EnduroCross racing. Had he not broken
his foot that forced him to sit out
a round earlier in the year, Webb
very well could've been right
there brawling with Brown and
Blazusiak for the 2013 title (technically he was in the running going into Vegas, but when Taddy
