course was perhaps a
bit more challenging.

saw a Honda CR500 two-stroke
battling a Yamaha DT?
with the start and finish at the
stadium giving us the infrastructure here and preserving the
long-term viability of this. We go
down into the channel and we
still get back up on the historic
ridge [that Malcolm Smith was famously shown on film], we come
back down and impact the least
amount of residents as possible.
We've put in a lot of time and it's
the best course ever - I think we
finally have it right because this
is the first year - knock on wood
- I have not had any complaints.
We've finally done it right, and it's
here to stay."
