of the sandy hairpin first turn,
though Blazusiak also gated well
and put himself into second followed by Webb, FMF/RPM Racing KTM's Kevin Rookstool and
the rest of the 13-man field.
It didn't take long for Blazusiak
to storm past for the lead on his

didn't enjoy a mistake-free race
and gave up first momentarily.
"I got around 'Brownie,' but
then I made a little mistake,"
he confessed. "They watered
the track a lot so when I hit the
brakes going into that firewood

which I was okay with because I
didn't crash.
"But I knew I had a little more

going into a slick, flat turn,
Blazusiak came back to win his heat
and the main event.

ing up a little bit. Once I went
down and Taddy got back on
me, I don't know if it's mental or
what happened, but I just put it in
survival mode to just hang on the
rest of the race."

pretty good start but dropped
