Briefly...
Cody Webb's runner-up finish
moved him into third in points at 110,
just two ahead of Colton Haaker
now with Monster Energy Kawasaki's Taylor Robert fifth with 105.
Mathematically, five riders head into
the Vegas finale with a chance at the
title.
Though the foot that Cody Webb
broke early in the season doesn't
seem to bother him now, it's still not
100-percent. "I've got to get a little
more fixed up on my foot in the offseason, then, hopefully, I'll be able
to be 100 percent for next season,"
he said.

Mike Hurlbert of the FMF/RPM
Racing KTM team revealed a few
changes in personnel for his squad
next year, sort of a domino effect as
a result of Maria Forsberg Hahn
retiring. That, of course, opened
up a spot on the FMF/KTM Factory
Off-Road Racing Team with Hurlbert's current star Kacy Martinez
likely moving in. So, besides his
new champ Chantelle Bykerk and
Louise Forsley, he's signed Rachel Gutish to contest next year's
EnduroCross and GNCCs for him.
He remains in negotiations for the
men who'll ride for FMF/RPM Racing KTM.
Since switching from the KTM 200
she's started the season with, the
move to a 350 XC-FW has proven
to be the proverbial match made in
heaven for Chantelle Bykerk. She's
raced it four times and won four
times.
