Former AMA Road Race
champion Sam McDonald

motocrosser Trey Jorski won the Ironman
class on a Kawasaki, finishing two-and-ahalf minutes ahead of Mick Holloway after
completing the race in three hours, six
minutes and 32 seconds.
Holloway returned the next day to take
the win in the Open Amateur division of the
Cross-Country race, edging Blake Womack by just over a minute. Meanwhile, Nick
Fairless was third another 30 seconds
back.
In the Pro Cross-Country division, Hudson Taylor finished almost 30 seconds
ahead of fellow KTM rider Brendon Clark
to take a well-deserved win. Hunter Want
battled with Clark for the runner-up position at the midway point of the race, but
settled for third at the finish.
