Before long, Fahringer worked
his way up to the front on his
FMF/Enduro
Engineering/
Moose Racing TE300, and he
and Bobbitt, the winner last year,
set a pace no one else could
match.
"We were swapping positions
- one of us would clip something
hidden in the leaves and fall
down, swapping back and forth.
It was fun," Fahringer said. "We
were tight racing for the first [44mile] lap, lap and a quarter.
"I think Russell started having
some trouble and I noticed he
kind of dropped away from me I think his throttle was sticking,
so that's unfortunate because
the two of us, we're usually tight
here.
"I couldn't be happier to win

OMA Series and was a contender
until losing a hand guard.
