With his second-place finish, Brown opened up his points lead a bit over Blazusiak to seven, 112 to 105. With two rounds remaining, it appears that the championship battle will go down to the wire. Robert holds third with 90 points but is just two points ahead of Haaker and the surg- ing Webb who are tied with 88 points each. CN 1. Cody Webb (Beta) 2. Mike Brown (KTM 3. Colton Haaker (Hon) 4. Lanza kept the pressure on with less than half a lap to go and then Rookstool suffered a spectacular crash on a difficult step-up double. Lanza was lucky to avoid Rookstool and managed to get his Husqvarna 125 two-stroke into the main. This left Rookstool and Abbott sitting in the stands for the final along with Bobby Prochnau, Ricky Dietrich, Bryan Roper, Ryan Sandoval, Ty Tremaine and Jacob Argubright Cody Webb was the runner up in the 2012 GEICO EnduroCross Championship and seemed poised to contend for the title in 2013. But a broken foot forced him to miss round two in Sacramento, which seemingly eliminated him from title contention. But Webb's two consecutive wins in Denver and Everett has moved him into a tie for fourth with Colton Haaker. The two are 24 points behind Brown, so with 25 points awarded for a win, they will need to finish ahead of Brown in Boise to keep their hopes alive heading into Las Vegas. Taylor Robert used the weekend between Denver and Everett to travel to Ecuador to compete in the Ukupacha Extreme Enduro. He won day one of the two-day event, which he described as an EnduroCross inside and outside of a bull ring. Day two was only 60 miles but took Robert eight hours to complete due to extremely difficult terrain and some navigation issues. Husaberg teammates Graham Jarvis and Alfredo Gomez had to team up to complete the course in over six hours and be credited with the shared win. Robert was credited with fourth.
