Fifth place went to the steady Cory Graffunder
on the factory-backed Husqvarna. He had worked
his way forward after completing the first lap in
eighth. Robert faded to sixth position after getting
the holeshot. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider
was sick all week.
"I could put down one or two fast laps, but I
knew the main event was going to be difficult with
the way I felt, and I never like to waste such a
great start" said a disappointed Robert.
Kyle Redmond, who had earlier won his heat
race and set fast lap times all day, finished seventh.
Gary Sutherlin was eighth ahead of Geoff Aaron, and Justin Soule rounded out the top 10.
