Taylor Robert and Mike Brown
were still suffering the effects of jetlag at the Denver race, after racing
last week's ISDE in Sardinia, Italy,
and returning to the States on Monday. "I'm still waking up at like four
a.m. in the morning and can't go
back to sleep," said Robert.
In addition to the special Dunlop
"sticky" EnduroCross rear tires, both
Mike Brown and Taddy Blazusiak
were running one-off motocross tires
on the front.
After spending most of his life riding trials, Cody Webb is starting to
come into his own in EnduroCross
and extreme off-road racing. Webb
also won the Tennessee Knockout
Hard Enduro a few weeks ago. "I
think my background is an advantage
for me," said Webb. "It just helps me
know how to attack these kinds of
obstacles."

ody Webb capitalized on a
midrace mistake by early
leader Colton Haaker to
claim his first-ever EnduroCross
win at round four of the GEICO
AMA EnduroCross Series at the
National Western Complex in
Denver, Colorado.
After grabbing the lead at the
start of the 10-lap main event,
Haaker led six full laps before putting a wheel wrong in the gnarly
