"So I was happy to finish ahead
of Brown and get some points
back. I think I was the fastest guy
today, but I just ran out of time."
Finishing third was Taylor Robert, who was hot off of top American honors at last week's ISDE
in Sardinia, Italy. The Monster
Energy Kawasaki rider made an
amazing ride through the pack to
land on the podium after getting
pushed wide in the first turn.
"It was not a great start, I think I
was eighth or so," said Robert. "I
got a decent jump but Cody was
in front. He kind of ran everybody
wide and I kind of got tangled up
in the first two turns. I finally got
going, though, and just started

Robert worked his way into
fourth place with one lap to go,
and on the final go-round he
made an aggressive but clean
pass on Brown to take the final
podium spot.

lap and I was charging to pass
