Jones said afterwards that he
had issues with his bike.
"The front of my skid plate actually broke off right when Bobby Garrison put the charge on,"
Jones said. "It actually scooped
into the dirt and locked my motor
up. I was messing with that for a
minute or so and that took a lot of
energy."
Going into the final at Buffalo
Bills in Primm, Nevada, in a few
weeks, Garrison holds a threepoint advantage over Jones for
number-two in the championship.

class just under thirteen seconds
behind Jones at the finish line.
In the Pro 2 class, All American
KTM's Ty Tremaine secured his
first win of the season after an
early battle with eventual secondplace finisher, Eric Yorba. Tremaine took over the lead on lap
five of what would be a 13-lap
race, and he held it to the checkered flag with nearly two minutes
to spare.
Class points leader Starr Savage rounded out the top three,
making it an all-KTM podium.
The race for the Pro 2 Championship is far from over, but Savage owns a seven-point lead over
Tremaine, who has an eight-point
advantage over Yorba.
In the Pro 2 Lites division,
John Burr Cycle's Steve Gibson
claimed his sixth win of the season after grabbing the holeshot,
which boosted Gibson back into
