and accept the 2013 WORCS
number-one plate.
Sutherlin went on to win the
race, his first-ever victory in the
WORCS series.
"[Justin] Jones actually pulled
the holeshot, and I got him right
off the bat on the moto track,"
Sutherlin said of his race. "I knew
it would be crucial to get out front
because there was a little bit of
dust. When we pitted, Robby
passed me, but I regained the
lead when he went down. I didn't
really have any pressure after that
so it was kind of nice.
"This is the best WORCS
course we have had," Sutherlin
added. "I like this kind of stuff
and I wish there was more of it."
Moose Racing Kawasaki rider
Bobby Garrison made it an all-
Kawasaki podium. He found
himself in fourth place and dicing
with KTM rider Justin Jones. The
two riders are also battling for
second in the championship.
"I could tell Jones was tired,"
said Garrison of his several-lap
duel with Jones that eventually
went his way. "The track was really rough and we both want that
