Briefly...
The Black Coal Enduro was held
on new trails developed by the
Lynnville Area Dirt Riders and funded by an action initiative offered by
Yamaha. According to club member Keith Obermeyer, the initiative
is to help clubs and organizations
around the country get funding
to build, mark and maintain trails
across the country. "Yamaha was
gracious enough to award us with
$14,000, which we used to buy all
the stakes and decals used to mark
new trail for all uses on this state
propery," said Obermeyer. "The
Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky Enduro
Riders, along with the Back Coal
Enduro Riders in the Lynnville area,
built all this trail for the national enduro and after the event we will be
able to mark all this trail for public
riding. There is nearly 60 miles of
new trail for this enduro and it will
be available for public riding after
the event."
