AUGUST 24-25, 2013
BIG SKY SKI RESORT/BIG SKY, MONTANA
OFF-ROAD
P130
THE AMA KENDA BIG SKY OFF ROAD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHI
of the Pro contingent weren't the
only ones getting all the attention.
This race was as much about the
amateur racers as the pros, as
the top performers in A, B and
C classes also walked away with
official National Championships
in their respective classes. And
while they weren't eligible for any
part of the $10,000 Pro purse
of course, in addition to AMA
number-one plates for the class
winners, the winners of the Youth
Senior overall (85cc Sr., Super
Mini, Girls), C class overall, B
class Overall, A class Overall (excluding Pro racers) were awarded
sponsorships from Kenda Tires,
KLIM Technical Gear, Wiseco,
FMF, Fasst Co and Flexx Bars.

crowns class champions in motocross.

unique in that aspect, it's also
held at one of the most beautiful
off-road venues one could imagine. Not only does the ski resort
offer all the amenities you could

ask for, it's also a great vacation destination, and just over an
hour's drive from Yellowstone, to
boot!
In keeping with the "extreme
race" tradition, the race offers
plenty of tough obstacles, and
perhaps the most daunting of
all is the extreme altitude, which
averages about 8000 feet at the
starting area (right next to the
lodge) and winds its way up the
ski slopes to about 10,000 feet at
its highest elevation.
Big Sky features five racecourses, so there is something
