ROUND 10/AUGUST 18, 2013
INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY/INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
MOTOGP
P44
MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Lorenzo (99) got the best
start and led the pack that
included Pedrosa (26),
Marquez (hidden) and faststarter Bradley Smith (38).
It is to find the answers that we
will continue to pay attention.
Marquez was on top from the
time he arrived: leading all the
practice sessions then claiming a
lap-record setting pole, with Lo-
renzo second and Pedrosa coming through at the end to qualify
third, just a smidgeon slower.
Lorenzo, four weeks on from
quick-fix surgery, was the less
troubled by his injury, though he
did acknowledge there was still
some pain in braking and direction changes. Pedrosa's choice
of natural healing meant he'd
been resting up, so unfitness
was added to his pain quotient.
