that Yamaha has signed Spanish
22-year-old Moto2 charger Pol Espargaro to his team for next year.
"This is more or less our job with
Yamaha – we will have two young
riders to develop for the future," he
said, adding he expected Espargaro to become competitive sooner
rather than later. "I am not happy
to lose Cal, but he took a decision
important to his career. Who knows
– in two or three years' time maybe
he will be back with us." The team
had a family feeling, he said. "Cal
will still eat at our hospitality, will still
visit us. "But he took a good decision."
