Roberts Re-Signs
With American
Racing for 2027
A
merican Racing Team has announced
that Joe Roberts will remain with the
team for the 2027 Moto2 World Champi-
onship season. It will mark Roberts' sixth
season with the American-based squad.
Roberts first joined American Racing in
2019 and remained with the team through
2020, when he earned his first Grand Prix
podium at Brno, claimed three pole posi-
tions and finished seventh in the champi-
onship standings.
After spending three seasons with other
outfits, Roberts returned to American Rac-
ing in 2024. He opened that season with
three consecutive podium finishes before
winning the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello.
He added another victory at Brno in 2025.
"We are very glad to continue with Joe
for 2027," said American Racing Team
owner Eitan Butbul. "Joe has been part of
the American Racing family for years, and
together we have achieved great results.
We strongly believe we can make another
great season in 2027."
Roberts said he is looking forward to
continuing with the team.
"This team has felt like a family to
me for a few years now, and I know we
are capable of doing great things in this
championship," Roberts said.
American Racing will continue its
Moto2 program in 2027, with Roberts
remaining one of the American riders
competing in the World Championship.

Liqui Moly Extends Beta Racing
Sponsorship Through 2028
L
iqui Moly has signed a two-year extension to
remain the title sponsor of the Beta USA race
team, which will continue competing under the
Liqui Moly Beta Racing name.
The agreement comes as Beta prepares to ex-
pand its Supercross program for 2027 by introduc-
ing a 250-class effort on the new RX 250F.
In addition to Supercross, Liqui Moly Beta Rac-
ing will continue competing in several off-road
championships, including GNCC, National En-
duro, National Hare & Hound, WORCS, West Hare
Scrambles, MotoTrials and EnduroCross.
Liqui Moly has supplied factory-fill oil for Beta mo-
torcycles manufactured in Europe since 2014.
