ROUND 1 / SEPTEMBER 12, 2026 HISTORIC CREW STADIUM | COLUMBUS, OHIO SUPERMOTOCROSS I MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P68 couldn't ask for anything more, honestly. What a solid weekend." Red Bull KTM's Jorge Prado finished third in his first-ever SMX Playoffs race. After missing the postseason entirely last year, the Spaniard fired out of the gate and led the opening lap over the rest of the field. He's fresh off his first overall win in America, two weekends ago in Indiana, and showed the same diverse riding ability that earned him two MXGP World titles. Prado battled with three-time Supercross champion Cooper Webb for the entire second moto before logging 3-4 results on the day. This is his fourth consecutive overall podium, including the last three rounds of Pro Motocross. More importantly, Prado takes the red plate as the championship leader from Lawrence. "My worst races came in the mud this year, and I got up here on the podium, which is amazing for me," Prado said. "Just improvement, from being in the top 15 [earlier in the season] to getting on the podium. We're now leading the SMX series, and I Jorge Prado started up front in both motos and now leads the overall SMX standings. SMX points leader going into round one of the Playoffs Hunter Lawrence had a miserable day. He struggled in the mud and dropped to sixth in the Playoffs standings.
