got close enough to attempt a
pass on the rookie. Mistakes
and an eventual fall in the moto
forced the Suzuki rider to take
second, along with second
overall. Despite sitting out the
Pro Motocross Championship,
he earned enough points in the
Supercross series to come into
the SMX Playoffs in 10th overall;
now he's fourth, eight points
back of the leader.
"Just nice and content," Roc-
zen said. "That was my game
plan coming into here. I had a
blast out there. To get a 2-2, I

overall. "The conditions were so
difficult. I was pretty pumped with
how I rode in the races. I made some
mistakes in the first moto, but the
pace was solid, and we made some
improvements for moto two. I stalled
it on lap one of the second moto and
came back to eighth before another
tipover. I was ninth overall. I'm happy
with that, even though the first one
does not count for as much. I'll take
the confidence forward."
