The result of Cannon's win and Turner's fifth-place finish trimmed Turner's lead heading into Saturday's final moto down to 13 points in the race for the title. Daniela Guillen (GasGas), the Spanish rider and FIM MXGP Women's points leader making her WMX debut with Wildcat Rac - ing, passed SLR Honda's Mayla Herrick early in the moto, moving into second with two laps remain- ing, resulting in an impressive runner-up finish. Herrick claimed third, while Brandy Richards (KTM) finished fourth, ahead of Turner. Further back, Dusty Rocks Yamaha's Jordan Jarvis claimed sixth after being passed by Turner on the final lap. SLR Honda's Mikayla Nielsen took seventh, with Partzilla Blaster Power PRMX Kawasaki's Taylah McCutcheon finishing ninth. If moto one wasn't enough drama, Saturday's moto two was pure calamity. Cannon backed up her Friday result with another strong start. However, early in the opening lap, Turner moved past Cannon for the lead.
