Pastrana Named Budds Creek Grand Marshal T ravis Pastrana has been named the Grand Marshal of this year's Yamaha Budds Creek National, presented by Carter Cat, the penultimate round of the 2026 Pro Motocross Champion - ship. The Maryland native, former Pro Motocross Champion, and AMA Hall of Famer returns to his home race as the ceremonial ambassador, with a special autograph session on race day, August 22, followed by a Nitro Circus live show the following day at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. "The sport of motocross, action sports and motorsports as a whole have never seen an athlete more gifted and dynamic than Travis Pastrana," said Ezra Beasley, organizer, Budds Creek Motocross Park. "No one transcended into the mainstream quite like this happy-go-lucky young kid from An - napolis who simply loved going fast and pushing the limits of what's possible. It's incredible to think that 26 years after his first-ever professional gate drop, Travis remains as popular as ever and contin - ues to break new barriers, be it two wheels or four. We're honored to have him as our Grand Marshal and know our fans will be thrilled to see him make a return to Budds Creek." CN WIND IN THE P28 Travis Pastrana is set to be the Grand Marshal for this year's Budds Creek National. Farres Re-Signs With Triumph Factory Racing C urrent FIM MX2 points leader Guillem Farres has extended his time with the Triumph Factory Racing team as he's set to compete in the premier MXGP class for the 2027 season and beyond. This new three-year deal marks Farres' first season in the MXGP division as well as Triumph's debut in the 450 class overseas with its TF 450-X. Farres is slated to race alongside Mikkel Haarup in the MXGP class as the Danish rider makes his return to the GPs next season. Current MX2 rider Camden McLellan will stay on the 250 for the 2027 season. "Staying with Triumph means a lot to me and was always my priority," said Farres. "This is where I started my professional career in Europe after racing in America, and since then the team has become like a family to me. I feel at home here, so I'm incred - ibly grateful to have the opportunity to continue with everyone for the next three years. To be part of Triumph's first factory team in the MXGP class is a dream come true and a real privilege. At the same time, I know it's going to be a big challenge and there will be a lot of work involved. But I have complete trust in the people around me. I'm also happy to con - tinue alongside Camden, as we have a great relation- ship and do a lot of our training together." CN Current FIM MX2 points leader Guillem Farres signed a new three-year deal with the Triumph Factory Racing team, which sees him jump to the MXGP division next season.
