"We knew that this weekend might
have been more challenging than
usual," Marc said. "I was quick on
a couple of occasions but not over
the race distance, and today I didn't
manage the tire wear well. We
couldn't find the right speed, and,
in the end, we did a bit worse than
expected. We're working on being
consistent and competitive on the
less favorable tracks, but we know
it's impossible to always have the
perfect bike."

"I expected a tough race," said
Quartararo, who was penalized 16
seconds after his Yamaha failed to
record valid front tire-pressure data
throughout the race on Sunday, drop-
ping him from 12th to 16th. "I was
not able to push like I wanted to,"
Quartararo said.". "The tire consump-
tion was big again, but in a different
way than it was yesterday. It was not
sudden and surprising, but today, it
was gradual and step by step. But it
was still not great for us."

Jorge Martin made it look easy
in the Sprint. In typical style, the
polesitter got the holeshot and
controlled the race, stretching his
title lead to 17 points at that stage.
