Race two saw Herrin complete
the sweep after another race full
of twists. Yaakov once again led
the early stages, ahead of Scott,
Herrin and Binder, who had
climbed from eighth on the grid
into contention.
The decisive moment came
with five laps remaining, when
Herrin passed Yaakov entering
the turn-one chicane. Yaakov
crashed moments later, forcing
Binder onto the escape road to
avoid Yaakov's fallen Ducati.
The incident cost the South
African valuable time, and a
subsequent mistake ended any
hopes of challenging for victory.
Herrin pulled away to win
Cameron Petersen (45) was readying himself for
a last-lap assault on JD Beach (95) in race one
until a small highside at the penultimate corner on
the penultimate lap gave the Yamaha man a clear
run to the flag.
